Meet the Horses

Kara Can Run (left) is a lovely 9 year old Thoroughbred mare by Ecstatic Ride. She is 15.2H and has incredibly smooth gaits. She has been ridden both English and Western.  Kara's baby, Whinny, has been weaned and Kara is currently training for the Dressage Show in September.
 

Buster is a 6 year old bay Thoroughbred gelding, by Two Socks, who has been started under saddle and is coming in to start his dressage training the last week in May!   He is a lovely, kind horse and a big boy at 16 hands.

Prince is a 15 year old Welsh mountain pony out of Angel, who has been with us since his birth. My son rode him when he was a baby! A truly special horse at the farm, 3 year old chidren can ride him by themselves!

Pistol is a 6 year old Thoroughbred mare, by Two Socks and Secretariat's Grand-daughter. She is a barn favorite for a great ride. She is happy to do dressage lessons, jump fences, or to go for a trail ride.

Angel is the master lesson horse. She is a wonderful Welsh pony mare, 21 years old, and a master at jumping, trail riding and, mostly, teaching kids how to ride. She is the best of the best!

Buttercup and Fecility are our two fabulous Welsh pony broodmares.

Teddy is a 3 year old Welsh/Thoroughbred cross out of Angel. He is a very special young pony indeed. We plan to keep him and use him in the lesson program when he is ready.

Beauty is a 3 year old Welsh/Thoroughbred cross out of Buttercup. She will be trained in all-around farm work, trail riding, and eventually show in jumping and dessage.

Two Socks is one of our stallions.

Dapper Dan was gelded this year and will be evaluated for his future role at the farm this summer..
